Steven Villegas, ACSW

My name is Steven Villegas, and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and my Master’s degree in Social Work from California Baptist University.

I was drawn to the field of clinical social work through a deep desire to support individuals on their journey toward self-understanding, growth, and emotional well-being. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic principles, with a strong emphasis on empathy, self-acceptance, and personal empowerment. I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, and I enjoy collaborating with clients to help them develop insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

I have worked with clients across diverse backgrounds and age groups, and I have experience providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish and value the opportunity to connect with clients in the language in which they feel most comfortable expressing themselves.

I look forward to serving the community at Anchor Counseling Group and supporting clients as they take steps toward healing and self-discovery.
